Who are we ?

We are Colin and Debbie Curtis. We have established our business here at White House Farm since May 2015.  We live here with our family.  We welcome your families and children. Our aim is to provide a relaxing, fun fishing experience with some extras. We are pleased you have chosen to visit us and hope you enjoy our facilities.

​Opened in March 2017, our Caravan Park, we are members with the Caravan and Motor home Club and any members can hook up here and try some fishing, enjoy the local sights or maybe the children want to be farmers for the day and experience our pet animal collection.
New for this year is the Cabin by the lake. This can sleep three people and can be rented for fishing by the lake. 
The static caravans -  for the larger group as each caravan  can sleep up to six. Set in the forest, it is quiet, peaceful and private whether you are fishing or just having a break.   


​If refreshment is what you need then you can order and have food delivered to you at the lake side so as not to interrupt your fishing . Or join us in the café for a sit down meal or maybe just a cheeky cake and coffee.

The licensed bar offers bottled beers, cans and wines as well as soft drinks and teas and coffees..


​There is free Wi-Fi for our customers, music or TV with Sport and News. ​Or finish off your day with a game of darts or pool.


Since moving here we have strived to ensure we are providing a clean, safe and enjoyable environment for the fisherman.
​We have erected Otter proof fencing to protect the health and safety of our fish and ensure good fishing for you. We have placed refuse bins around the lake to keep it free from debris. There are two dipping bins on each lake for the dipping of nets to ensure there are no diseases cross contaminating our lakes from other waters. There is a larger car park on the match lake for easier access, especially for disabled access.  
​We have provided clean toilets and showers. A café that can provide snacks and meals and a delivery service of food to the lakeside for the fisherman with a "5 stars on the door" achieved.

A certified Caravan site with  The Caravan Club with disabled access and electric hook ups.
​We have restocked the match lake with Tench, Perch, Crucians and Skimmer Bream. We will continue to restock both lakes this year. In the Carp lake, Lexis Lake, we will be adding 8,000 F1 this year. Already in April 12,000 new fish were added to the lakes including Bream and Roach new to our waters.  
The new third lake is becoming established with some quality Carp, Roach, Bream, Rudd, Perch, Tench, Crucians and Chub.

Throughout all the new developments we have ensured there is disabled access as much as possible. There are spaces to park on the lake edge for patrons who require this. Help is always available to carry or help set up and put away - just ask.
​Specially designed swims, access to the toilets or showers and into the café.

OPEN MATCHES BACK ON FROM APRIL 24th and every two weeks until further notice. Just turn up 8.30am and join in. £15.00 all in. Fishing 9am until 3.30pm

​ Children's Fishing Club
​ All children welcome, beginners or experienced.
​Learn with our experienced fisherman. All equipment and bait provided to children. A snack and drink at the end of the two hour session. A donation of £2.00 for each child is asked to cover the cost of bait and refreshments. Just bring yourself and join the fun. Due to increased numbers pre booking is required and payment of a ten week course of £20.00 with a reduction for siblings is required first week. A fishing licence is required for children aged over 12 years, it is free until aged 16 years when a fee is then payable to the environment. But this can be downloaded for free on the internet , any problems come and see us and we can help you access the site. Look forward to seeing lots of new faces.
​11am to 1pm each Saturday, just come along and see whats going on. Any adults that want some instruction please come too, you are new too old to learn a new hobby.
​No one is excluded, we welcome all.
Due to Covid-19 this years start date has been delayed until it is safe for everyone to participate.
